Microdot Sleeve: This rant had nothing to do with home addresses or locations of some place, but on UHF/VHF/HF portable and mobile radio ten codes, the title is equivalent to 1093 or 93. And it's been 93 days since my last entry. For 3 months I was too busy on my duties and stuffs. Although I had a lot of time to write in between those duties, for some unknown reasons, it just won't happen, up until now. I thought a lot of "word play" though as the title for the days that are passing like, "36-24-36," "Life begins at 40," "Area 51," "Hi-way 54," "Buddy and Companion," "Messages," and a lot more. But I guess, I am too much occupied. So, here are those days in my head.
The past three months was great and I was given a much bigger responsibilities regarding on my duties. Anyway, Miss Spain was back in Canada and today's her birthday. The last moments with her was in the airport filling up some raffle tickets from a celfon network. I don't know if I could remember everything but I had a lot of gifts from Miss Spain like music CD's by Yano, Hopia, Mani, Popcorn compilations, and some movies, etc. Then the following days and weeks, some faded loves appeared like a dark cloud ready to pour some rain and a psyche stude who always resist on self analysis, I don't know how but I managed to do so, was cast aside.
March 26 came and that night Mcoy Fundales of "Orange and Lemons" shouted, "Lahat ng Kabataang maganda, nasa Araneta!" YCONCON, a concert for a cause kicks off at the Araneta Coliseum and it was a very big success. I got souvenirs from that event like magazines and I happen to stumble with "Batangweirdo" during the event. I remember last year, I was asked by Miss Korean Chopstick if there are bands I knew who can play for a charity show. So I ended up asking Vig and went to nothing. But I never thought it would happen this big, that a lot of wonderful bands, (6 Cyclemind, The Spaceflower Show, Hammilan, Imago, Join The Club, Lefturn, Orange and Lemons, Red Lead 65, Rivermaya, Rocksteddy, Elmo, Spongecola, Sugarfree, The Members, and The Wuds) gathered to play with one objective. Charity. And the truth will always prevail, that everytime we put up a show, it will always be a big success because God's almighty hand works on it. Araneta management claims that we're the only group of people who can make it big on gathering huge crowds. In fact, almost 10,000 youths have watched the show, a first in Araneta Coliseum's history. HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRO. ELI!
APRIL 7, 2007
A DAY TO THANK GOD FOR (Bro. Eli Soriano's 43rd year of celebrating his birthday in spirit)

April 10, 2007
It all still echoes in my ear – the scream, the laughter, the cheers, the fun; another day to commemorate and to cherish, the day when we thanked God for giving us a faithful minister who has given his life to lead our souls to salvation.
April 7, 2007, Bro. Eli celebrated the 43rd year of his acceptance of the holy baptism of God. For us members in the Church of God International, this day is truly a blessing of God for having Bro. Eli still with us up to this day.
Brethren all over the world gathered in spirit to be a part of this momentous celebration. The time differences and distance among the countries didn't serve as a hindrance for us to witness the joy as the celebration goes in Apalit, Pampanga.
We are one of them. In fact, Middle East and South East Asia Divisions have also offered their own share of Thanksgiving on this day. The members from district of United Arab Emirates, which is composed of seven locales, gathered as one in Metropolitan Palace Dubai to monitor live on this event and at the same time be a part of the offering of Thanksgiving to God.
Our joy manifests as we started singing lively songs to glorify God for all His goodness to us. The sound of happiness that we feel echoes in four corners of our venue, especially the moment that we started the what we call as 'bisyo', when we use to sing and dance continuously for a long period of time.
Young or old, married or single, no one was able to refuse to dance and sing to the tune and steps led by the choir and teatro members. As it is written from the verses of the Bible in Psalms 133:1 – "Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!"
Applauds even grew louder as if you can hear the whole world clapping when Bro. Eli Soriano started singing his favorite songs so sweetly before our very ears. Not only that, as a gift for us, he prepared a very special topic to discuss before the whole congregation that made us marvel more the wisdom given to him by God. On this day, he revealed unto us the hidden mystery behind the greeting of a holy kiss.
Should we ask for more? This day has it all. Although I may fail to see it, I am pretty sure that most of the brethren are still high in spirit up to now for all the excitement that we have witnessed on Bro. Eli's birthday in spirit. Life has become marvelous for all the teachings that we hear, for all the mysteries that are being revealed to us, for the happiness that we feel inside the house of God. For all of these and for all His goodness that we don't know, we will forever glorify Him unto everlasting.

Superman Returns!
by: Cecile I. Viscaya
10 April 2007
After almost 9 months of traveling, preaching and assisting Bro. Eli abroad, Bro. Daniel surprises the congregation when he showed up before the brethren during the introductory part of the thanksgiving program on April 2, 2007.
The massive crowd jubilantly shouted, clapped, and stood in ovation as they longingly welcomed Church of God Vice-Presiding Minister back home.
Bro. Daniel was overwhelmed, saying that no words are enough to explain the joy he felt upon seeing the gleaming and smiling faces of the brethren, bidding him that the sparkle in their eyes tells a sincere "Welcome back!" There were more of "How do you do's?" and "Happy thanksgiving's!".
Bro. Daniel is still suffering from his jetlag - his hoarse voice and feverish countenance being proofs of the harsh elements of weather and sudden change of temperature, and physiological factors, like exhaustion, stress, and hunger. But thank God! Bro. Daniel is still up and as robust as ever, as he has always been in the previous years. He even discussed the first part of the topic with so much gusto. This only proves the truthfulness of the Biblical declaration in II Corinthians 4:16: "For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day."
Bro. Daniel's return is also of good timing since the Congregation will be commemorating the Lord's Supper, concurring with the 14th day of Nisan (which is from March 19, the first day of Nisan/Abib in the Hebrew calendar) in which the Lord Jesus Christ was offered as the paschal lamb in the spiritual sense.
Nevertheless, the brethren were very happy to see Bro. Daniel return where he truly belongs.
Well, it was just like Superman returning to earth disguised as the meek Clark Kent. Welcome back, Kuya!
