microdot sleeve: An old saying: "A-anhin pa ang damo kung patay na ang kabayo?"
Today is what they call "All Saint's Day", and there's a lot of flowers, candles and prayers for people's departed loved ones. I'm glad I'm not part of that old tradition anymore when people visit their departed friends and families graves.
Think about this.....
Do dead people need prayers?
Do dead people need those candles and flowers?
Imagine this.....
A man had sinned for all his life, and after he died, people would go and pray for him.
Will he be save by other people's prayers?
Those flowers which people called respect, will it do anything for the dead? People should respect their loved ones when they are still alive and people should pray for the living and not the dead. But, there are two things which I still remember from that old tradition beside people's hypocrisy or culture of pretense: kite flying and an old tree in a cemetery where I carved some thoughts from the heart.
Kumusta Dear?
Marami ang nagkamustahan sa araw na ito. Mga buhay at mga patay. Marami akong nakitang naglalakad kanina papuntang sementeryo. Aamuyin kaya nila yun at sasabihin, "Wow! Nakakatawang kapaimbabawan at pakitang tao.
Here's Daniel Johns and the rest of Silverchair. Three kids from Australia who made it to the top. They were just sixteen years old when their debut album "Frogstomp" was released in 1995. I remember some years ago, they did a show here in the Philippines at the U.P. Theater. Off their 1996 album "Freak Show," here's "Cemetery," a song about a phone call away, about an escort service and the red light district.

Pahawak naman. No touch.....

Ang Mangmang (The Fool).....
Microdot Sleeve:Some years ago, nagkaroon ng Bible Expo sa Valenzuela City, may nagtanong kay Bro. Eli at nagpakilalang atheist.
According to the latest available statistics there are about 15-30% of the world populations that are either agnostic or atheists. Atheist and agnostics are defined as:
agnostic ag-nos-tic [ag nostik] (plural ag-nos-tics) noun 1. somebody denying God's existence is provable: somebody who believes that it is impossible to know whether or not God exists. 2. somebody denying something is knowable: somebody who doubts that a question has one correct answer or that something can be completely understood.
Example: I'm an agnostic concerning space aliens. [Mid-19th century. a-2 + gnostic] -ag-nos-tic, adjective -ag-nos-ti-cal-ly, adverb Microsoft Encarta 2009. 1993-2008 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved.
atheist a-the-ist [aythee-ist] (plural a-the-ists) noun unbeliever in God or deities: somebody who does not believe in God or deities. Microsoft Encarta 2009. 1993-2008 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved.
While it is true that there are evil that throughout the history of humanity were done by some people who "allegedly" are believers in the existence of God, the worst of evil were done by those who denied the existence of God Psalms 53:1:
"The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good."
This was the observation of the psalmist David. The same observation was written by another Biblical writer many hundreds of years after David.
In Romans 3:10-18, the apostle Paul categorically stated:
"As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one. Their throat is an open sepulcher; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips: Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness: Their feet are swift to shed blood: Destruction and misery are in their ways: And the way of peace have they not known: There is no fear of God before their eyes."
Biruin mo, there's probably no God daw and stop worrying and enjoy life?

Slang…..
Microdot Sleeve:Slang – a colloquial, nonstandard speech that expresses ideas in an unconventional and often playful and colorful manner. It is pertained to as a street language, for example, ain’t, gonna, wanna, shudda, cudda. Much slang is popular for only a short time, but many words that were originally considered slang are now in standard usage. Anyway, the last time I had an entry was more than a hundred days ago. Here’s a new one to fill that gap, written as a class memento for me and my classmates who graduated from a free training course on how to be a Call Center Agent.
I’m done taking up a free training course somewhere in Ortigas area. It was a month-long training in English Comprehension and Call Center stuffs. I’ve met a lot of people and new faces to remember. I’ve kept them in my memory box. Some of those beautiful human beings are presented here using Photobucket’s slide. I’ve also had a lot of kilometers, shred some pounds, and a few flats on riding a bicycle when going to my class. I’ve learned a lot with sweaty palms, trembled in near hypothermia while the air conditions in full blast. We’re all graduates now. Still, there’s a lot more to learn. Life is always like that. Living and learning.

Microdot Sleeve:The year was 2002, kapag sinabing ang Cellphone mo ay GSM, galing daw ito sa magnanakaw, kaya nga G.S.M. (galing sa magnanakaw.)
G.S.M.
Anyway, ganun dati. Then lumabas ang 3210, nakabili ako but after a year, nakipag-swap ako ng 5110 with syempre additional 1.5K yun may ari ng 5110.

Microdot Sleeve:Well, after 235 days of no entries, finally I had a chance to write this one. I don't know, but the small piece of paper where I wrote the draft on this keeps bugging me. Anyway, here's one dream I had some months ago and needs to be interpreted.....
WANTED: INTERPRETER

Rat-tat-tat! Lupa hindi bala.....
microdot sleeve:21 years ago, before highschool graduation, nakabisikleta ako noon.
Mendiola Massacre:On January 22, 1987, as thousands of peasant farmers demanding land reform marched towards Malacañang, thirteen members of a militant peasant group Kilusang Magbubukid ng Pilipinas (KMP) were killed by a hail of bullets fired by the Marines and police on Manila’s Mendiola Bridge; a total of nineteen peasant farmers perished. The 1987 march, which has come to be known as the Mendiola Massacre, was led by agricultural workers from Hacienda Luisita.

Katwiran.....
Isang dating pina-pare minsang may sinabi,

Tinipong lahat habang may bulutong at makating balat.
Chicken Facts (este Pox).....
Isang madaling araw, nagising akong ginaw na ginaw. Parang biglaang lagnat na nawala rin kaagad. Tanghaling tapat, naramdaman kong ako'y parang may sinat. Alam mo iyon. May dalang supot iyon.
Last year, may kababata ako namatay dahil dito. Sila'y matatakaw at walang kabusugan. Nagsasalita ang mga iyon gamit ang pulpito. Baka nga sakmal nila ngayon ang leeg at bulsa mo eh.
Coup d'etat.....
Ngayon in reality, talaga palang sumasabog iyon.
Microdot Sleeve:A review I found over the internet regarding Bro. Daniel's show "Good Morning Kuya!" aired on UNTV37.
Kuya Item: Good Morning Kuya! Location: by bassaloha
Review: I use to watch Jerry Springer show that’s why this morning show captured my attention. The program is entitled Good Morning Kuya and the format - just the format, not the content - is somehow parallel. The first scene that I was able to see was the host, Kuya Daniel, walking up the stairs talking to the cameramen and the staff telling them how the show should fare. I think it was very post-modernist, very unconventional and I must say effective.
I learned that Good Morning Kuya is relatively a newcomer, and despite the commotion, I’d like to say the show is good. There are various points that I considered: 1. Public Service. I have never seen any television show that offers free services this much - medical service, legal service, free ride and other services that are too trivial to mention. 2. Uniqueness. It is not easy to merge sensibility and humor. This show is a perfect blend of the two and is very distinctive. Watching the show means learning in a non-tedious way. 3. Content. I tuned in quite late at around 6:30 in the morning but at the end of the show, at 9:00 am, I felt like I have gained a lot. I am not a newspaper reader, and I believe this show will keep me informed about the whatnots in the world. 4. Truth. If there’s a thing called ‘reality TV’ this is the real one. What you see is what you get. No pretensions.
Good Morning Kuya is aired through UNTV channel 37, a relatively small TV network here in the Philippines. With all the free ‘goods’ that they give out, it is not easy to maintain this program. With the knowledge that they strive hard to reach out to the needy, it is indeed very heart warming. I wonder when will the other bigger TV networks follow the steps of this program. The answer I cannot provide, but Good Morning Kuya surely made a huge step into the advancement of TV shows.

Bow!
Actually, nagkita kami ni Bhab noong Saturday sa Alpha, batian lang kami kasi busy rin ako sa maraming paperworks(from monday to friday, may directorial work ako sa Hollywood). Mayroon pa naman siyang blogsite na dumadami at si art na langgam ni Devi kaya lang nakakapang-hinayang lalo na kung isang electronic ads that works like a virus ang sisira ng gawa mo, sana gumawa ulit siya ng blogsite.
What is spam?
Spam is flooding the Internet with many copies of the same message, in an attempt to force the message on people who would not otherwise choose to receive it. Most spam is commercial advertising, often for dubious products, get-rich-quick schemes, or quasi-legal services. Spam costs the sender very little to send -- most of the costs are paid for by the recipient or the carriers rather than by the sender.
There are two main types of spam, and they have different effects on Internet users. Cancellable Usenet spam is a single message sent to 20 or more Usenet newsgroups. (Through long experience, Usenet users have found that any message posted to so many newsgroups is often not relevant to most or all of them.) Usenet spam is aimed at "lurkers", people who read newsgroups but rarely or never post and give their address away. Usenet spam robs users of the utility of the newsgroups by overwhelming them with a barrage of advertising or other irrelevant posts. Furthermore, Usenet spam subverts the ability of system administrators and owners to manage the topics they accept on their systems.
Email spam targets individual users with direct mail messages. Email spam lists are often created by scanning Usenet postings, stealing Internet mailing lists, or searching the Web for addresses. Email spams typically cost users money out-of-pocket to receive. Many people - anyone with measured phone service - read or receive their mail while the meter is running, so to speak. Spam costs them additional money. On top of that, it costs money for ISPs and online services to transmit spam, and these costs are transmitted directly to subscribers.
One particularly nasty variant of email spam is sending spam to mailing lists (public or private email discussion forums.) Because many mailing lists limit activity to their subscribers, spammers will use automated tools to subscribe to as many mailing lists as possible, so that they can grab the lists of addresses, or use the mailing list as a direct target for their attacks.

Garapon...

Bahag.....
Microdot Sleeve:The bahag or loin cloth of the Mountain Province is an exquisitely hand-loomed piece of long cloth that is wrapped around the man's middle. Much of the modern bahags have found their way to the low land as table runners, serviettes, and other decor and fashion accoutrements.
Courtesy of UNTV37, kaunaunahan ito sa buong mundo na free ride (with coffee) from Monumento to Baclaran (along Edsa/vice versa).

Rotate.....
Microdot sleeve:A few nights ago, when I was into thinkering, planning a redo on some paperworks and trying to keep a little stress off while lying on my back, I've decided to play a game(a type of tetris game) called "Nature Park" on my cellfon. It's been quite sometime since the last time I played it. The truth is, it's boring for me playing those cellfon stuffs. So, trying to make the time pass by, I've played a few hours with it, making hi's ang low's on the scoreboards, then stopped and decided to sleep.
So, why rotate? I guess that's one of the moves in the tetris game. Then one day, I received an e-mail from a Brethren with the following videos attached. I thought it was just some old funny video or something that can't even move a muscle on my face, but I was wrong. Well anyway, here's a Japanese Game Show called Human Tetris.
Enjoy watching!!!

Rolan Ocampo at Bro.

The Sin of Jose Luis Miranda’s Illusion Jul 9th, 2007 by Bro. Eli
Dear Bro. Eli,
Isn’t concept of sin a misnomer perception in realistic management of social, political administration of the society? Even critical analysis of church practices reflects that from time to time. Is not concept of sin man-made illusion?
Wish you opulent joy & prosperity
Point to Ponder:
“There is no such thing as a self-made man. We are made up of thousands of others.”
— George Adams
In the family, may discipline overcome indiscipline, peace discord, charity miserliness, devotion arrogance, and the truth-spoken word the false -spoken word. Avesta Yasna 60.5
Partha Roy
Dear Partha Roy,
Illusion is defined in the Encarta dictionary as:
1. something with deceptive appearance: something that deceives the senses or mind, e.g. by appearing to exist when it does not or appearing to be one thing when it is in fact another
2. false idea: a false idea, conception, or belief about somebody or something
3. deceptive power of appearances: the ability of appearances to deceive the mind and senses, or the capacity of the mind and senses to be deceived by appearances
In the Bible, illusions are called ‘lying vanities’.
(Psalms 31:6)“I have hated them that regard lying vanities: but I trust in the LORD.”
The Hebrew word used is ‘shav’, meaning:
shâv’ shav
shawv, shav
From the same as H7722 in the sense of desolating; evil (as destructive), literally (ruin) or morally (especially guile); figuratively idolatry (as false, subjectively), uselessness (as deceptive, objectively; also adverbially in vain): - false (-ly), lie, lying, vain, vanity.
Strong’s Hebrew and Greek Dictionaries
Dictionaries of Hebrew and Greek Words taken from Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance by James Strong, S.T.D., LL.D., 1890.
The word ‘apate’ was used in the Greek New Testament to denote the same thought.
apatē
ap-at’-ay
From G538; delusion: - deceit (-ful, -fulness), deceivableness (-ving).
The holiness of other people can be called an illusion, but definitely not their sins.
(2 Timothy 3:5)“Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.”
These are aptly called by Christ the Lord as hypocrites.
(Matthew 23:27)“Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchers, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men’s bones, and of all uncleanness.”
Hypocrisy is applying holiness in form, but denying it in heart. This is holiness in illusion; and definitely is a sin.
Can someone who kills or murders a parent, a wife, or a child which came from his or her own body, say that what he did is illusion? Is it proper to say that he committed an illusion? Do you think that it is okay to murder a wife, a child, or a parent? Are these crimes reality in society or is it as they call it — an illusion?
Anybody who will say that it is okay to murder a loving wife is a fool.
(Ephesians 5:25)“Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it…”
The belief of the self-proclaimed Christ,Jose Luis De Jesus Miranda, leader of the cult “Growing in Grace”, that sin no longer exist is an illusion. Thousands are being deceived by inappropriately citing a verse he do not understand.
(Hebrews 9:28)“So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.”
This verse was erroneously interpreted. Miranda made it appear that he is Jesus Christ; and because he has come, there is sin no more. But if you are going to look closely at the verse, and carefully consider the context, the “appearing” mentioned will be on Judgment Day.
(Hebrews 9:27-28)“And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.”
When Christ was seen on earth during His earthly ministry, He bore the sins of those who believed in Him.
(2 Corinthians 5:21)“For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.”
The sins of the believers are the cause of the sufferings of Christ. His death which is due to sinners made their redemption.
(Isaiah 53:4-5)“Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.”
So, He was seen on the cross, bruised and dead because of sins. When he appears on Judgment Day, sin will not be with Him anymore, but definitely, the sins of the unbelieving will be with them.
(Mark 3:29)“But whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is guilty of an eternal sin…”RSV
(Matthew 12:32)“And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.”
Sins of the unbeliever will not be redeemed and will be with them even in the world to come!
Miranda claims that he is Christ and is come; allegedly, the second coming. But if his people have a little more healthy memories, they should have remembered that once, Miranda claimed that he is a reincarnation of the apostle Paul. Now that he claims to be Christ, is it not a sin to fool the very people extracting money from their pockets to fill yours? It certainly will be unfair for them; and it is a sin that now exist in the group of Miranda.
Miranda claims that all religious leaders, except him, are liars; but he is the one lying (of course, sinning) to the very people who enriches him. Here is a publication of the Miami Herald, which Miranda can not deny and was broadcast over NBC.
The Miami Herald/July 22, 2006
By Alexandra Alter
…. In 1988, he announced he was the reincarnation of the Apostle Paul. In 1999, he dubbed himself “the Other,” a spiritual super-being who would pave the way for Christ’s second coming. In 2004, he proclaimed himself to be Jesus Christ and the sole interpreter of the gospel.http://www.rickross.com/reference/creciendo/creciendo3.html
Sin is very much a reality in Miranda and his group.
Who says that sin is an illusion? The Bible says otherwise.
The quotation of George Matthew Adams that was cited in your question is socially sound, but is not biblically true. Man is not made by thousand others, or himself. Man is made (and made whole), and being directed into righteousness only by God.
(Isaiah 41:4)“Who has done such mighty deeds, directing the affairs of the human race as each new generation marches by? It is I, the LORD, the First and the Last. I alone am he.”
There was not an upright and righteous man who lived on earth (in the past and in the present) who does not rely on the directive power of the Almighty Creator.
(Jeremiah 10:23)“O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps.”
Every man, to be righteous, needs God’s direction.
(Proverbs 16:9)“A man’s heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps.”
The quotation from the Zoroastrian scriptures that you cited, which I quote hereunder, can not be considered a general truth that can be accepted by someone who has learned the fullness of truth in the Divine Scripture: The Bible.
“May Sraosha (Obedience) conquer disobedience within this house, and may peace triumph over discord here, and generous giving over avarice, reverence over contempt, speech with truthful words over lying utterance. May the Righteous Order gain the victory over the Demon of the Lie. As in this (house) the Bountiful Immortals seek for good Yasnas and good praises from the blessed Sraosha (who governs here), and as they seek for (one) good sacrifice and act of homage (more especially their own) which is a good offering (to them) for (our) salvation, and a good offering in praise, together with a long continued offering of the entire self, (7) let not then (their) brilliant glory ever desert this house, nor the bright abundance, nor an illustrious offspring legitimately born, nor that long continued companionship which is the furtherance of that good blessedness which teaches concerning glory.”
While obedience may conquer disobedience and peace over discord, etc, in a particular situation concerning a particular house or person, but it does not apply to humanity in every given instance at all times. In fact, the Bible tells us that evil co-exists with good.
(Ecclesiastes 3:16-17)“And moreover I saw under the sun the place of judgment, that wickedness was there; and the place of righteousness, that iniquity was there. I said in mine heart, God shall judge the righteous and the wicked: for there is a time there for every purpose and for every work.”
This is the reality that we can see, feel, and observe. This is not illusion. Where there is goodness, there is evil; and the existence of both will be the basis for God’s judgment. The evil of the evildoers will satisfy God’s justice unto those who have done good.
(Romans 2:7-11)“To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honor and immortality, eternal life: But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath, Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile; For there is no respect of persons with God.”
Justice is equity, and everyone must be paid according to what he has done.
(Psalms 62:12)“Also unto thee, O Lord, belongeth mercy: for thou renderest to every man according to his work.”
(John 5:28-29)“Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.”
May my God enlighten you to discern what illusion is and what is not.
May God Bless You.

May isang vendor, pabalik-balik. Siguro'y nag-iisip... Nagtataka marahil...

Address.....
Microdot Sleeve:This rant had nothing to do with home addresses or locations of some place, but on UHF/VHF/HF portable and mobile radio ten codes, the title is equivalent to 1093 or 93. And it's been 93 days since my last entry. For 3 months I was too busy on my duties and stuffs. Although I had a lot of time to write in between those duties, for some unknown reasons, it just won't happen, up until now. I thought a lot of "word play" though as the title for the days that are passing like, "36-24-36," "Life begins at 40," "Area 51," "Hi-way 54," "Buddy and Companion," "Messages," and a lot more. But I guess, I am too much occupied. So, here are those days in my head.
The past three months was great and I was given a much bigger responsibilities regarding on my duties. Anyway, Miss Spain was back in Canada and today's her birthday. The last moments with her was in the airport filling up some raffle tickets from a celfon network. I don't know if I could remember everything but I had a lot of gifts from Miss Spain like music CD's by Yano, Hopia, Mani, Popcorn compilations, and some movies, etc. Then the following days and weeks, some faded loves appeared like a dark cloud ready to pour some rain and a psyche stude who always resist on self analysis, I don't know how but I managed to do so, was cast aside.
March 26 came and that night Mcoy Fundales of "Orange and Lemons" shouted, "Lahat ng Kabataang maganda, nasa Araneta!" YCONCON, a concert for a cause kicks off at the Araneta Coliseum and it was a very big success. I got souvenirs from that event like magazines and I happen to stumble with "Batangweirdo" during the event. I remember last year, I was asked by Miss Korean Chopstick if there are bands I knew who can play for a charity show. So I ended up asking Vig and went to nothing. But I never thought it would happen this big, that a lot of wonderful bands, (6 Cyclemind, The Spaceflower Show, Hammilan, Imago, Join The Club, Lefturn, Orange and Lemons, Red Lead 65, Rivermaya, Rocksteddy, Elmo, Spongecola, Sugarfree, The Members, and The Wuds) gathered to play with one objective. Charity. And the truth will always prevail, that everytime we put up a show, it will always be a big success because God's almighty hand works on it. Araneta management claims that we're the only group of people who can make it big on gathering huge crowds. In fact, almost 10,000 youths have watched the show, a first in Araneta Coliseum's history. ***** HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRO. ELI! APRIL 7, 2007
A DAY TO THANK GOD FOR (Bro. Eli Soriano's 43rd year of celebrating his birthday in spirit) by: pinklady0122 April 10, 2007
It all still echoes in my ear – the scream, the laughter, the cheers, the fun; another day to commemorate and to cherish, the day when we thanked God for giving us a faithful minister who has given his life to lead our souls to salvation.
April 7, 2007, Bro. Eli celebrated the 43rd year of his acceptance of the holy baptism of God. For us members in the Church of God International, this day is truly a blessing of God for having Bro. Eli still with us up to this day.
Brethren all over the world gathered in spirit to be a part of this momentous celebration. The time differences and distance among the countries didn't serve as a hindrance for us to witness the joy as the celebration goes in Apalit, Pampanga.
We are one of them. In fact, Middle East and South East Asia Divisions have also offered their own share of Thanksgiving on this day. The members from district of United Arab Emirates, which is composed of seven locales, gathered as one in Metropolitan Palace Dubai to monitor live on this event and at the same time be a part of the offering of Thanksgiving to God.
Our joy manifests as we started singing lively songs to glorify God for all His goodness to us. The sound of happiness that we feel echoes in four corners of our venue, especially the moment that we started the what we call as 'bisyo', when we use to sing and dance continuously for a long period of time.
Young or old, married or single, no one was able to refuse to dance and sing to the tune and steps led by the choir and teatro members. As it is written from the verses of the Bible in Psalms 133:1 – "Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!"
Applauds even grew louder as if you can hear the whole world clapping when Bro. Eli Soriano started singing his favorite songs so sweetly before our very ears. Not only that, as a gift for us, he prepared a very special topic to discuss before the whole congregation that made us marvel more the wisdom given to him by God. On this day, he revealed unto us the hidden mystery behind the greeting of a holy kiss.
Should we ask for more? This day has it all. Although I may fail to see it, I am pretty sure that most of the brethren are still high in spirit up to now for all the excitement that we have witnessed on Bro. Eli's birthday in spirit. Life has become marvelous for all the teachings that we hear, for all the mysteries that are being revealed to us, for the happiness that we feel inside the house of God. For all of these and for all His goodness that we don't know, we will forever glorify Him unto everlasting.

Superman Returns! by: Cecile I. Viscaya 10 April 2007
After almost 9 months of traveling, preaching and assisting Bro. Eli abroad, Bro. Daniel surprises the congregation when he showed up before the brethren during the introductory part of the thanksgiving program on April 2, 2007.
The massive crowd jubilantly shouted, clapped, and stood in ovation as they longingly welcomed Church of God Vice-Presiding Minister back home.
Bro. Daniel was overwhelmed, saying that no words are enough to explain the joy he felt upon seeing the gleaming and smiling faces of the brethren, bidding him that the sparkle in their eyes tells a sincere "Welcome back!" There were more of "How do you do's?" and "Happy thanksgiving's!".
Bro. Daniel is still suffering from his jetlag - his hoarse voice and feverish countenance being proofs of the harsh elements of weather and sudden change of temperature, and physiological factors, like exhaustion, stress, and hunger. But thank God! Bro. Daniel is still up and as robust as ever, as he has always been in the previous years. He even discussed the first part of the topic with so much gusto. This only proves the truthfulness of the Biblical declaration in II Corinthians 4:16: "For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day."
Bro. Daniel's return is also of good timing since the Congregation will be commemorating the Lord's Supper, concurring with the 14th day of Nisan (which is from March 19, the first day of Nisan/Abib in the Hebrew calendar) in which the Lord Jesus Christ was offered as the paschal lamb in the spiritual sense.
Nevertheless, the brethren were very happy to see Bro. Daniel return where he truly belongs.
Well, it was just like Superman returning to earth disguised as the meek Clark Kent. Welcome back, Kuya! iblogged.... 2:21 PM

The Three O'Clock Habit
microdot sleeve:This is not about that TV or radio prayer, but Three O'Clock Habit is a habit which I do everytime I enter our Locale, to look on my left side and see what's new. Three O'Clock (which means your left side) is the location of our bulletin board where you can read the following.....
Youth Speak
What's important to a Christian Youth?
The way of the world has a very sweet offer to people and very conventional imposition to people about how life should be lived.
Getting a college degree and having one's own family seem to be the path to be walked, and when you get these two would complete it all in man's life as if you've finished your journey. You are luckier if aside from these things, you are an achiever, a successful professional and could still juggle busy life with leisure. All roads in the world seem to lead to having a family, growing old, enjoying retirement pay and so on. In most cases, people cling to the cycle, not wanting to get out and just go with the flow of the world.
But Christians are of a different kind. We perceive future differently because we have the hint of what the real future holds. Christian youth are mindful of the future because we are properly guided by the Scriptures, helping us make the right choices. We don't just go on with the trend. We know there's more to life than racing for time to earn a satisfying and fulfilling life to live in this world.
We may not be able to experience what busies and preoccupies other young people's lives such as going out, hanging out and getting thrills.
Fortunately for us, we know what true happiness means and where true happiness lies. We are fully aware that there's something we should always consider first, which more than half of the world seem to forget-that, despite all the seemingly important things around us, one stands above all - God.
Our priorities second only to God and the Church are our family, friends, relatives, career and our self.
LIFESTYLE OF KKTK
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God. - Romans 2:12
As Christians, we are bound by the teachings of Christ. Whatever we say or do must be based in the Scriptures, even if this means being different and non-conformist to the walks of this world. Christian lifestyle may seem unconventional to others, however, we must remember to cling onto God's fold and teachings. After all, it is He whom we serve and not anyone else.
If, because of these, we are persecuted in this life because of our very different lifestyle, we must rejoice for we become partakers of the promise of eternal life as we endure. People may laugh at us now, but their enjoyment is temporary; that of Christians' will last forever.
We may be different for using songs to present the fruit of our lips to the One above everything. We may look "funny and cheap" to other people because we create gestures and movements through dance to praise God. We may earn the consternation of many people because we use modern technologies to propagate God's loving kindness and hope of salvation to mankind. Some people may raise eyebrows toward us because we wear modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety instead of over-the-top trendy fashion. And what makes us unique and unconventional may be construed as weirdness by others, but we remain proud of what we do and practice.
The best life ever lived on this earth is the one lived by Christ. He left us an example, that we should follow His steps. It may be full of tears, sorrow and pain; but this is the greatest story on earth: the life story of Christians. From our leader, the Lord Jesus Christ, up to the last Christian who will receive the Gospel-those who, after suffering persecution in this life, shall inherit eternal life-the story goes on.....
